This in-person training supports child-serving professionals in understanding the role of self-care in sustaining both personal well-being and professional effectiveness. Facilitated by professionals in the behavioral and developmental health field, the session explores what self-care really is—and what it is not—while addressing common myths that can get in the way of meaningful, consistent practice.
Participants will learn to recognize early signs of burnout and understand how prolonged stress can impact their work, relationships, and overall health. The training emphasizes the role of self-awareness in building resilience and helps distinguish between quick coping strategies and habits that support long-term well-being.
Grounded in real-world application, this session encourages participants to identify practical, realistic self-care strategies they can integrate into daily routines—supporting resilience in a way that is sustainable, not overwhelming.
