Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health) is a collaborative initiative led by the Achievement Center of LECOM Health aiming to promote the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral development in Erie County, PA children from birth to age 8.

The project’s goal is to equip children to thrive in school and beyond, fostering resilience and emotional health in both children and their families.

See What We’ve Been Up To

By equipping professionals, sharing resources with families, and showing up across our community, Project LAUNCH is helping young children in Erie County reach for the stars. These results come from just the first year of a five-year grant—there’s more ahead.

Our Work is Focused on Three Goals

  • Awareness

We're helping more people to understand the importance of mental health (for kids and adults), feel comfortable asking for support, and know where to go for help.

  • Access

Through increased check-ins, check-ups, screenings, and assessments we're helping to identify the needs of children and parents earlier, so they can receive support sooner.

  • Action

We're giving parents, caregivers, and professionals the tools and training they need to support young children and their families.
